Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum 1 year of tractor/trailer driving experience
- Clean motor vehicle report for last 3 years
- Pass road test
- Current or obtainable DOT health card
- Ability to hand-lift and use moving equipment to handle freight ranging from 10 to 90 pounds
- Meet state licensing and certification requirements
Job Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year tractor/trailer driving experience
- Valid CDL-A license
- Current DOT health card or ability to obtain one
- Clean motor vehicle report for the past 3 years
- Pass driving road test
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements
Job Duties
- Perform all required safety checks including pre/post trip vehicle and trailer inspections according to DOT regulations
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines
- Report all safety hazards immediately and inspect trailers for properly loaded and secured freight
- Perform count checks and verify customer invoices with products loaded
- Move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed
- Drive to and deliver customer orders according to route schedules and unload products into designated customer areas
- Perform damage control checks on items, scan deliveries, and communicate with supervisor about removing orders
- Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures
- Collect money when required
- Load customer returns onto trailer and secure trailer doors
- Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are always secured
- Unload damaged goods and customer returns and complete necessary paperwork
- Perform daily record logs for hours of service in compliance with DOT, state, and company requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and order in tractor and loading dock areas and secure equipment at shift end
- Perform other related duties as assigned
