Job Requirements
- Must have a CDL Class A license
- minimum of 2 years experience in commercial transportation
- ability to pass DOT physical and drug tests
- availability to start work at 5am
- able to pass company pre-employment screening
- legally permitted to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- knowledge of customer service fundamentals
- experienced in over the road (OTR) transportation routing
- familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations
- minimum of 2 years experience in commercial transportation with CDL
- must have a CDL Class A and pass DOT-required physical and drug tests
- able to pass additional pre-employment screening
- experience driving a forklift is a plus
- manual certification is a plus
- experience in the flooring industry is a plus
- legally permitted to work in the United States
Job Duties
- Loading and unloading merchandise with lift gates, forklifts and pallet jacks
- verify loads for accuracy
- deliver merchandise to the destination safely and on schedule
- perform pre/post-trip inspections
- provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- obey and follow applicable traffic laws
- maintain ELOG and comply with all DOT and FMCSA regulations
- report defects, accidents, and violations
- communicate and coordinate with dispatch on deliveries
- carry out other duties and responsibilities as required
