Job Requirements

  • Current Class A CDL
  • Physical ability to lift heavy weights regularly
  • Ability to operate trucks and loading equipment safely
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Able to work a 4-day workweek
  • Adaptable to change and able to manage competing demands

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Drivers License- Class A
  • Medical Examiner's Certificate as required by Department of Transportation
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Adaptability to change

Job Duties

  • Drive heavy straight truck, PUP or automobile over established route
  • Pad, stack and secure items on truck to prevent damage
  • Load and unload vehicles using hand truck, electric pallet jack or dolly
  • Rotate stock, lift and stack products inside customer premises
  • Maintain or merchandise displays, shelves, and cold-boxes
  • Provide excellent customer service daily
  • Collect proper payment for invoice at delivery
  • Record damages, changes and discrepancies on invoices at delivery
  • Meet or exceed productivity standards
  • Interact with sales and merchandising teams
  • Collect and return empty boxes for repackaging
  • Drive in a safe and lawful manner
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on truck and trailer
