Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- Valid CDL A license
- Six months commercial driving experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for the past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test
- Pass road test
- Possess or attain valid current DOT health card
- Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and other equipment to move and or stack product cases
- Product cases generally range from approximately 60 to 90 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- Valid CDL A license
- Six months commercial driving experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for the past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test
- Pass road test
- Possess or attain valid current DOT health card
- Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and other equipment for moving product cases
- Preferred qualifications considered an asset
Job Duties
- Attend and successfully complete entry level driver trainee or dock to driver training program
- Assist driver trainer in executing deliveries
- Perform all required safety checks including pre/post trip inspections
- Follow DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- Drive and deliver customer orders according to route schedule
- Unload products and verify delivery with customer
- Collect money where required
- Load customer returns and secure trailer doors
- Complete daily records and necessary paperwork
- Perform general housekeeping duties
- Perform other related duties as assigned
