Job Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL license
  • current DOT medical card
  • minimum 6 months to 1 year of CDL driving experience
  • ability to pass road test
  • acceptable driving record per DOT and company insurance mandates
  • compliance with DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse provisions
  • physical ability to climb, lift 20-40 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally
  • good vision including color vision and ability to focus
  • strong communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL license
  • current DOT medical card
  • at least 1 year CDL driving experience (6 months considered)
  • ability to pass road test
  • acceptable driving record according to DOT and company insurance standards
  • compliance with DOT's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse provisions

Job Duties

  • Be constantly vigilant to detect unexpected road conditions, distracted drivers, and motorists unfamiliar with commercial vehicles
  • operate commercial vehicles safely in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations
  • conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment prior to departure and upon return
  • report any defects immediately to management
  • ensure accurate and efficient product delivery procedures
  • maintain compliance with all DOT and company safety standards
  • communicate effectively with management and customers as needed
