Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • valid Class A driver’s license
  • clean driving record
  • ability to operate forklifts and various machinery
  • availability for 3rd shift work Monday through Friday with possible Saturdays
  • ability to follow safety and food safety regulations
  • physical ability to perform loading and unloading tasks
  • good communication skills
  • willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Class A driver’s license
  • proven experience operating commercial trucks
  • forklift operation experience
  • knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
  • familiarity with SQF, USDA, and HACCP regulations
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to maintain truck logs accurately
  • experience performing vehicle inspections
  • emergency roadside repair skills
  • ability to follow safety procedures
  • teamwork and professionalism

Job Duties

  • Ensure trailers are in place daily for production staff access
  • move trailers to and from yard and on/off-site cooler locations
  • take trucks/trailers to the weigh station as needed
  • bring dump trailer to empty trash receptacles
  • operate fruit unloading ramp as needed
  • clean fruit unloading area as needed
  • operate forklift to load and unload drums and materials
  • maintain professionalism with staff
  • safely operate trucks, forklifts, and electric pallet jack daily
  • assist in other production areas as directed
  • maintain truck log according to regulations
  • maintain telephone contact with supervisor for instructions
  • load and unload trucks
  • perform pre and post trip inspections
  • perform emergency roadside repairs as needed
  • adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices
  • comply with SQF, USDA, and HACCP standards
  • follow SQF, Organic, and Non-GMO procedures to prevent cross-contamination
  • report unsafe conditions or acts immediately
  • attempt to remedy unsafe conditions if possible
  • enforce company policies and safety regulations
  • ensure proper use of machinery and maintain safe work environment
