Job Requirements
- Valid CDL A
- At least 12 months commercial driving experience
- High school diploma or GED or state approved equivalent
- Must be 21 years of age
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Valid current DOT Health Card or able to secure new DOT Health Card
- Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move product cases and freight of varying size and weight
- Ability to comply with DOT regulations and company policies
- Physically capable of performing manual lifting and freight handling duties
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to work early morning shifts and vary routes as needed
Job Qualifications

- Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
- Must be 21 years of age
- Clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Valid current DOT Health Card or able to secure new DOT Health Card
- Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move and stack product cases of varying size and weight
Job Duties
- Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner
- Functions as a team member within the department and organization as required and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company
- Performs all required safety checks (pre/post trip) including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
- Reports all safety issues and/or repairs required
- Follows all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
- Inspects trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- Performs count check of items and checks customer invoices of products loaded
- Completes in an accurate and legible manner all required paperwork associated with freight
- Moves tractor to loading dock and attaches preloaded trailer as needed
- Drives to and delivers customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule
- Unloads products from the trailer and transports items into designated customer storage areas
- Performs damage control checks on items, scans and contacts supervisor about removing orders
- Verifies delivery of items with customer and obtains proper signatures
- Collects money where required
- Loads customer returns on trailer and secures trailer doors
- Ensures that tractor, trailer and freight are appropriately locked and secured
- Unloads damaged goods and customer returns and completes necessary paperwork
- Completes daily record of hours of service and enters in log according to Federal DOT, state and company requirements
- Performs general housekeeping duties and keeps trailers clear and clean
- Secures all equipment and completes all necessary paperwork at end of shift
