The regional dry van carrier is a reputable transportation company specializing in dry van freight hauling across multiple key regions in the United States including Texas, Oklahoma, the Southeast, the Midwest, and the Northeast. Job Requirements
- Must have a Class A CDL from current state of residence
- Minimum one full year of Class A OTR or regional experience in the last three years or two full years in the last five years
- No more than two previous jobs in the last 12 months and no more than four in the last three years
- No termination from last job for safety reasons
- No more than two moving violations or preventable accidents in the last three years
- No DOT recordable preventable accidents in the last five years
- Never failed or refused a DOT drug test
- DUI in a personal vehicle must be at least eight years old and only one lifetime
- Must complete required online orientation to receive paid orientation bonus
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license
- Minimum one year of Class A OTR or regional driving experience within the last three years or two years within the last five years
- Clean driving record with no more than two moving violations or preventable accidents in the past three years
- Ability to pass DOT drug and alcohol tests
- Familiarity with no-touch and drop and hook freight handling
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to carry tractor and trailer home weekly
Job Duties
- Operate commercial vehicle in compliance with company and DOT regulations
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Safely transport dry van freight across designated routes
- Utilize drop and hook or no-touch freight handling as required
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Comply with all safety and company policies
