Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to lift, carry and push weights up to 75 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work in wet, hot and slippery conditions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in kitchen or housekeeping roles advantageous
- Ability to follow sanitation and safety guidelines thoroughly
- Basic communication skills in English
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting and standing
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and reliability
Job Duties
- Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and cooking supplies using proper sanitation procedures
- Pull trash from trash receptacles and replace trash bags as needed
- Clear trash from tables and floors/grounds
- Clean floor areas of any spillage of water, detergent and/or food stuffs per safety and sanitation guidelines
- Load and unload inventory from trucks and stock storeroom
- Maintain kitchen, serving, and dining areas in clean and orderly condition by sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, wiping counters and equipment, and organizing shelves
- Perform light food preparation work such as washing and peeling fruits and vegetables
- Transport food carts to and from designated serving areas
