Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and write, follow written and verbal instructions, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to walk long distances daily
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to perform repetitive actions with one or both hands
- Ability to hear ordinary conversation and office sounds
- Ability to communicate verbally in person and on the phone
- Ability to communicate in writing by hand and on PC

Job Duties
- Maintains all floors in the required manner
- Empties all trash receptacles and picks up miscellaneous trash on floor on a daily basis and as needed
- Handles recycling
- Ensures that all entranceways are clean, maintained and safe
- Follows cleaning procedures in a safe manner
- Maintains equipment in good working condition and returns it to the proper storage locations after use
- Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs
- Moves furniture
- Sets up, assists with decorating and breaks down special events
- Writes up maintenance work orders
- Participates in ongoing in-service education and attends meetings
- Ensures regular and reliable attendance
