Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
- 0-3 years of relevant engineering experience
- Experience in airport or highway design preferred
- Ability to obtain Engineer-in-Training certificate within six months preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Available to work in Columbus, Ohio office
Job Qualifications
- Proficient with MS Office Suite including Word and Excel
- Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil3D
- Experience with Bentley MicroStation and Open Roads Designer a plus
- Ability to work in groups or independently
- Good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
- Willingness to learn new skills and interface with multiple project managers
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience in airport or highway design a plus
- Engineer-in-Training certificate preferred or ability to obtain within six months
Job Duties
- Assist with preparation of construction plans, estimates, and deliverables for airport projects under direction of lead engineer
- Prepare project designs and deliverables compliant with standards and quality assurance
- Collaborate with design team to complete assignments
- Track project scopes, schedules, and budgets with design team
- Follow in-house design documentation and process flow procedures
- Assist with bid coordination and construction administration
- Communicate with design team, clients, and review agencies
- Attend and document project and client meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
