- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid California Food Handler certification required before first day
- Six months to one year dishwashing experience in a high-volume food and beverage environment

- Six months to one year dishwashing experience in a high-volume food and beverage environment
Job Duties
- Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware, and cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine or wash them by hand as needed
- Change and refresh dishwater in dish machine frequently
- Assemble and disassemble dish machine
- Set up or break down dishwashing area
- Fill and empty soak tubs with cleaning and sanitizing solutions
- Notify manager if dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety and temperature standards
- Sort and stack clean dishes
- Carry clean dishes to cook's line and other proper storage areas
- Rewash soiled dishes if necessary
- Remove trash and garbage to dumpster
- Sweep trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster
- Clean and roll or unroll mats
- Complete all opening, running, and closing duties as assigned
- Promote and provide extraordinary guest service for internal and external guests by answering questions and offering assistance
- Understand and demonstrate proper use of safety practices and ensure department standards and safety policies are upheld
- Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for team members and guests
- Identify, de-escalate, and resolve conflicts or disturbances professionally
- Provide a positive and welcoming experience for guests of all ages
- Maintain a high level of trust and integrity to promote a safe and welcoming environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
