Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Valid California Food Handler certification required before first day
  • Previous bartender experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Process guests' food and beverage orders with urgency and upsell products
  • Pour wine and serve draft and bottled beer
  • mix drinks and beverages according to recipe
  • Check identification of guests to ensure legal drinking age
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations
  • Operate cash registers and handle payments, ensuring proper cash handling procedures
  • Maintain the bar area by organizing, cleaning, and completing opening, running, and closing duties
  • Stock and order liquor and bar supplies as needed
  • Adhere to opening and closing procedures and maintain a clean, sanitized bar area
  • Promote extraordinary guest service
  • balance cash drawers accurately and follow cash-handling procedures
  • Assist guests with inquiries and resolve complaints professionally
  • Collaborate with team members and management to enforce cash-handling compliance
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Identify and resolve conflicts professionally
  • Provide a welcoming experience for guests of all ages
  • Perform other duties as assigned
