Job Duties
- Move with a sense of urgency by processing guests' food and beverage orders and upselling products
- take orders and deliver food and beverage in a timely manner
- check identification of guests to ensure they are of legal drinking age
- operate cash registers, collect payments from guests, and return change
- practice proper cash handling procedures including entering all food and beverage items into the point-of-sale system after every transaction
- organize money and count change back to guests
- follow appropriate checkout procedures
- maintain work areas by organizing and cleaning service stations and pre-bussing tables as needed
- complete opening, running, and closing duties as assigned
- adhere to opening and closing procedures including setting up and breaking down the venue
- maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized food service area
- stock, clean, put away product or discard waste as needed
- promote and provide extraordinary guest service by answering questions, offering information, and providing courteous assistance
- understand and demonstrate proper safety practices and comply with all food and beverage regulations
- balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift with emphasis on accuracy and integrity
- assist guests with inquiries, resolve complaints, and address concerns related to cash transactions professionally
- collaborate with team members and management to ensure efficient and secure cash handling
- monitor and maintain a safe environment for team members and guests
- identify, de-escalate, and resolve conflicts professionally
- provide a positive and welcoming experience for guests while maintaining composure
- maintain high levels of trust and integrity
- perform other duties as assigned
