Job Qualifications

  • must be 18 years older
  • valid California Food Handler card required before first day

Job Duties

  • greet and seat guests using an open table seating system
  • present menus to guests and inform them of daily restaurant specials and promotions
  • manage waiting list, server seating chart and table rotation
  • quote accurate wait times
  • observe tables and track clean, dirty and occupied tables
  • clean, organize and stock menus at host area
  • pre-bus tables as needed of used glassware, plate ware, silverware
  • maintain restrooms and keep glass doors clean
  • sweep foyer and front entrance area frequently
  • answer phone and respond to questions concerning menu and restaurant
  • promote and provide extraordinary guest service
  • demonstrate proper use of safety practices and uphold department standards
  • monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment
  • identify, de-escalate and resolve conflicts or disturbances professionally
  • provide a positive and welcoming experience while maintaining composure
  • maintain a high level of trust and integrity
  • perform other duties as assigned
