Job Duties

  • Moves with a sense of urgency by cleaning and clearing tables of used glassware, plate ware, silverware etc.
  • prepares and maintains dining room by stocking all necessary supplies throughout shift
  • interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience
  • maintains walkways, common areas, wait stations and restrooms
  • keeps a clean and sanitary bussing station
  • completes all opening, running, and closing duties as assigned
  • maintains table settings by removing finished courses and replenishing utensils in accordance to specifications as necessary
  • supports wait staff by assisting them with delivery of food and retrieval of any supplies they may require
  • moves tables, chairs and floor plans as needed
  • promote and provide extraordinary guest service for both internal and external guests
  • answer questions, offer information, and provide assistance in a courteous manner
  • understand and demonstrate the proper use of safety practices and ensure department standards are maintained and safety policies are upheld
  • monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for both team members and guests of all ages, following all company guidelines and protocols
  • identify, de-escalate, and resolve conflicts or disturbances professionally and effectively to maintain a positive atmosphere
  • provide a positive and welcoming experience for guests of all ages while maintaining composure during difficult interactions
  • maintain a high level of trust and integrity to promote a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues of all ages
  • perform other duties as assigned
