Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Prior food and beverage experience preferred
- Prior bartending experience preferred
- Prior concierge or luxury hotel experience preferred
- Previous customer service experience

Job Duties
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all hotel meetings, events, and functions
- Greet guests in an appropriate manner and offer to assist with their needs
- Answer telephone calls for specific services and dispatch the appropriate associates to respond to the guest's request
- Coordinate completion of these services to ensure a positive guest experience
- Assist guest with making arrangements to visit points of interest, attractions, museums, and parks in a timely and appropriate manner
- Assist guest with making restaurant recommendations and reservations
- Continuously check on the needs of guests in entire lounge, bussing tables, and pouring alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Serve cocktails, wine, beer and champagne in accordance with safe alcohol service standards
- Ensure alcohol awareness procedures are in place and notify manager of any guest incidents
- Complete side work to include polishing/rolling silverware, stocking beverages, condiments and glasses/plates, sweeping and cleaning as directed
- Assist in controlling the flow of activity in lounge during food and beverage periods by assisting pantry attendants
- Demonstrate commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to guests and associates, damage to property or the property of others
- Know and demonstrate correct action to take in the event of an emergency
