Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience as a sushi cook or in a similar culinary role preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours and open availability
  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of sushi preparation techniques
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Team player with good communication skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare sushi, sashimi, nigiri, and specialty rolls with consistency and attention to detail
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of all fish and ingredients
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary sushi station at all times
  • Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed
  • Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate execution of orders
  • Monitor product freshness and quality, ensuring all dishes meet presentation standards
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Contribute to menu development and daily specials when applicable
