We are currently seeking motivated and capable Shift Leaders to join our team. The Shift Leader role is essential in driving the successful operations of a Cicis Pizza restaurant during their assigned shifts. This position involves overseeing and directing daily activities within the restaurant, managing staff performance, and maintaining compliance with company policies and operational guidelines. The role demands a strong focus on delivering top-notch food quality, exceptional guest interactions, and seamless coordination across all areas of the restaurant. Shift Leaders act as the frontline supervisors, responsible for maintaining high standards in product preparation, customer service, cleanliness, safety, and overall restaurant functionality.

As a Shift Leader at Cicis Pizza, you will play a pivotal role in coaching and leading a team, ensuring that members are well-trained and motivated to exceed guest expectations. The position requires exemplary operational skills, including proficiency with POS systems, inventory management, cash handling, and adherence to safety protocols. Shift Leaders are expected to foster an energetic, fun, and team-oriented work environment while promoting consistent brand quality and guest satisfaction.

Additionally, this is a non-exempt, hourly employment opportunity that may require working long or variable hours, including nights, weekends, and unscheduled shifts to meet business needs. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess reliable transportation, and be able to handle multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual skills are valued in certain markets to better serve diverse customer bases. Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to work long hours, scheduled or unscheduled, which will include nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise
  • Ability to successfully perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant
  • Ability to lead a team during a shift with no supervision
  • Employment is contingent upon satisfactory results of a background check
  • Must be willing to comply with company policies
  • Must be able to work with phones and computers
  • Non-exempt, hourly position

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the restaurant or hospitality industry preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate and train a team
  • Proficiency with point of sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills
  • Ability to handle customer concerns professionally and promptly
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to maintain quality and operational standards consistently
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
  • Bilingual skills in certain markets preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate exemplary operations skills in all aspects of the restaurant including making quality products for guests and ensuring each product meets Cicis standards and reflects the guest's order
  • Professionally and promptly respond to all guest concerns or issues
  • Solicit guest feedback, share feedback with team, and use feedback to improve operations and build brand loyalty
  • Communicate, train and promote quality standards to team members by utilizing all available tools including the Cicis Operations Manual and Team Member Handbook
  • Supervise a restaurant team, maintain adequate shift staffing levels according to projected sales, properly train team members to exceed guest expectations, ensure compliance with uniform and appearance standards, and coach for improved performance
  • Ensure team is quality and guest focused and build an atmosphere of teamwork, energy and fun
  • Contribute to sales goals by providing prompt and friendly guest service
  • build sales through team member product training and sales execution
  • Contribute to overall profit goals by effectively utilizing the POS and other systems
  • Execute cash management duties
  • Assist in the management of inventory levels using the company's systems and guidelines to minimize waste and loss
  • Manage company's assets by ensuring the restaurant is clean, safe and organized
