Job Duties
- Plan and prepare monthly lunch menus that meet state nutrition guidelines
- Oversee food preparation and serving ensuring quality and safety standards are met
- Order all food products and supplies necessary for meal preparation
- Manage inventory to minimize waste while maintaining adequate stock levels
- Complete and submit required state reports for the school lunch program ensuring compliance with all regulations and guidelines
- Oversee the lunch program budget tracking expenses monitoring revenue and maintaining accurate financial records
- Lead and support lunchroom staff and volunteers promoting teamwork and efficiency
- Coordinate staff schedules and ensure proper training in food safety and handling
- Foster positive relationships with students parents and staff addressing dietary needs special requests and concerns related to the lunch program
