Job Requirements

  • At least two years of serving experience in an upscale or fine-dining restaurant
  • Must be available to work Fridays and Saturdays
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of wine spirits and food pairings
  • Ability to obtain any government-required license or certificate
  • Able to carry trays up to 35 lbs and stand walk and move in a fast-paced environment for extended periods
  • Basic math skills
  • Proficient in English
  • Manual dexterity

Job Qualifications

  • At least two years of serving experience in an upscale or fine-dining restaurant
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to anticipate guest needs
  • Strong knowledge of wine spirits and food pairings ability to confidently describe menu items vintages regions and preparation methods
  • Ability to obtain any government-required license or certificate
  • Basic math skills for handling payments calculating checks and understanding portion standards
  • Proficient in English for guest communication order taking and completing written documentation
  • Manual dexterity for handling service ware glassware plates trays and other dining room equipment

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly present menus and guide them through food and beverage selections with expert knowledge and professionalism
  • Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them efficiently using the POS system
  • Deliver courses in proper order and ensure timely service maintaining an elevated dining experience throughout each visit
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the food menu wine list specialty cocktails and daily specials including preparation methods and ingredient details
  • Prepare and maintain assigned service stations including stocking linens utensils condiments and service ware
  • Monitor guest satisfaction respond promptly to requests and resolve concerns in a courteous and helpful manner
  • Handle cash credit card transactions and guest checks with accuracy and adherence to established procedures
  • Perform general cleaning tasks such as polishing silverware maintaining service areas and ensuring overall dining room cleanliness to meet health and sanitation standards
  • Follow all State Federal and Corporate regulations related to food safety and alcohol service
  • Assist with bar service private dining functions or other duties as assigned to support restaurant operations
