Job Description

Kraft Heinz is a global leader in the food and beverage industry, known for producing some of the most beloved household brands across the United States. The Cedar Rapids facility is a non-union production plant staffed by approximately 200 hourly employees, including both temporary and full-time associates, operating on a three-shift schedule. This location specializes in the manufacturing of frozen soups and macaroni and cheese products, featuring a complex operation with multiple production lines including soup bagging, tubs, kettles, filling, and packaging lines.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment preferred
  • Ability to operate power equipment such as pallet jacks
  • Basic computer skills including experience with HMI interfaces
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and food safety standards

  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work independently and with others
  • Must be able to work in a safe manner
  • Responsible for following all Food Safety Policies and Safety Procedures
  • Responsible for Q-RMP standards implementation as defined by the accountability list document

Job Duties

  • Operate power equipment
  • Document bag temperatures
  • Stage totes in first-in first-out order
  • Basic understanding of HMI operation
  • Communicate with Onpack operators / Prepack lead
  • Identify any quality concerns, illegibly printed bags or seal integrity issues
  • Follow all Food Safety Policies and Safety Procedures
