Job Description
Kraft Heinz, a leading global food and beverage company, operates a substantial manufacturing plant located at 4601 C Street SW in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This facility is a non-union operation that runs three shifts daily, employing approximately 200 hourly workers, including both temporary and full-time associates. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience operating power equipment preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work in hot and cold temperature conditions
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to follow safety protocols
- Ability to document and monitor temperature readings accurately
- Willingness to work first shift, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to food safety standards
- Ability to operate a pallet jack
- Familiarity with HACCP and HMI interface

Job Duties
- Operate power equipment
- Document bag temperatures
- Stage totes in first-in first-out order
- Basic understanding of HMI operation
- Communicate with onpack operators and prepack lead
- Identify any quality concerns such as illegibly printed bags or seal integrity issues
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- Must be able to work in a safe manner
- Responsible for following all food safety policies and safety procedures
- Utilize computer skills for IQS
- Operate pallet jack
- Implement Q-RMP standards as defined by the accountability list document
- Troubleshoot chiller problems
- Regulate speed of chill tank through HMI manipulation to ensure all products meet HACCP temperature requirements
- Operate printer, Wexxar, and Iconotech printers
- Understand all pack configurations
- Separate batches as much as possible in totes
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
