Job Requirements

  • Must possess a bachelor's degree
  • One to three years of experience in a fundraising role
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally
  • Must be able to independently organize work to meet guidelines
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% to off-site events
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
  • Professionalism and diplomacy in external visibility
  • Attention to detail and customer service orientation
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere
  • Physical capability to assist in event set-up

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • One to three years of experience in fundraising or equivalent roles
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and managing strategic fundraising initiatives
  • Ability to organize work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge database management is a plus
  • Strong public speaking skills
  • Creativity and excellent interpersonal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Establish and execute an annual strategic plan and goals to support the hospital and foundation mission
  • Develop and implement plans for cultivation, stewardship, and engagement of CMN corporate partners and national programs
  • Manage a portfolio of top corporate partners to maximize revenue through various campaigns
  • Implement and manage a local Advisory Council to support CMN initiatives
  • Engage hospital constituents such as physicians, nurses, staff, patients, and families to foster awareness and involvement
  • Organize and host events and activities including tours, check presentations, and kickoff meetings for partners
  • Submit quarterly financial reports to CMN Hospitals in partnership with the Director of Signature Events
