Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, human-centered design, behavioural science, or related field
  • minimum 5 years experience in customer experience design, digital engagement, or human connection design
  • proficiency with human-centered design thinking and prototyping
  • strong project coordination capabilities
  • ability to collaborate cross-culturally
  • familiarity with behavioral insights and storytelling
  • comfort using safe digital communication tools and platforms
  • excellent command of written and verbal English
  • available for occasional international travel

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, human-centered design, behavioural science, or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
  • minimum 5 years experience in customer experience design, digital engagement, or human connection design, ideally in a nonprofit or mission-driven setting
  • expertise in human-centered design thinking and prototyping
  • strong project coordination and cross-cultural collaboration skills
  • knowledge of behavioral insights, storytelling, and content design
  • proficiency with safe digital communication tools and platforms
  • excellent written and verbal English
  • additional languages are an asset

Job Duties

  • Collaborate and influence with Field and Support Offices and WVI Sponsorship colleagues to pilot and implement new safe interaction types
  • design and test safe, innovative child-sponsor connection experiences based on field insights, behavioural data, and sponsor expectations
  • support Virtual Field Visits and digital event coordination to provide immersive and safe sponsor experiences
  • develop and maintain best practice guidelines for safe, meaningful child-sponsor connections
  • evaluate sponsor satisfaction and child feedback to continuously improve interaction formats
  • coordinate safe delivery of standard sponsorship products such as letters, photos, and videos per Support Office requirements
