Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- one to three years' experience in similar position
- post-offer physical required
- attendance of certification courses offered by CANS
- previous institutional quantity preparation of food service experience preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including hearing, hand-eye coordination, keyboarding, sitting, lifting, standing, walking, carrying, and repetitive hand motions

- ability to supervise and train staff
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- experience managing inventory and ordering supplies
- effective communication skills
- ability to maintain accurate records
- proficiency in handling deposits
- certification from CANS (or willingness to obtain)
Job Duties
- Supervises and assists in training and scheduling staff
- orders all food and equipment
- receives and stores food and supplies
- assists in production as needed
- keeps production and participation records
- maintains safety and sanitation procedures
- adheres to District guidelines
- liaison between students, teachers and building administration
- evaluates staff
- performs lunchbox duties as needed
- completes daily deposits
- performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
