Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • one to three years experience in a similar position
  • post-offer physical examination funded by the district
  • ability to perform constant hearing, hand-eye coordination and mind-eye coordination
  • ability to perform intermittent keyboarding, sitting and lifting
  • frequent repetitive motions with wrists, hands, fingers
  • frequent standing, walking, and carrying
  • required attendance at certification courses offered by CANS
  • preferred previous institutional quantity preparation of food service experience
  • willingness to pass a post-offer criminal background check

  • effective communication and team leadership skills
  • knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures

Job Duties

  • Supervises and assists in training and scheduling staff
  • orders all food and equipment
  • receives and stores food and supplies
  • assists in production as needed
  • keeps production and participation records
  • maintains safety and sanitation procedures
  • adheres to district guidelines
  • liaison between students, teachers and building administration
  • evaluates staff
  • performs lunchbox duties as needed
  • completes daily deposits
  • performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
