Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in food operations or child nutrition programs
  • Ability to conduct site visits and work with multiple stakeholders
  • Knowledge of food safety practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours as needed
  • Ability to use data to support program compliance and improvement

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in food service management or related field
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
  • Familiarity with CACFP or similar child nutrition programs
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee vended food program including ordering meals and vendor feedback
  • Maintain back-up food supplies and coordinate delivery to sites
  • Conduct weekly site visits to monitor meal service
  • Ensure implementation of food safety practices
  • Develop understanding of CACFP regulations and ensure compliance
  • Review monthly data for CACFP meal claims and vendor invoices
  • Lead and support unit through training and coaching
  • Collaborate with program partners to collect and analyze menu feedback
