Job Requirements
- Child Growth and Development course
- EEC Strong Start Certificate
- Current Letter of Good Health dated within 1 year
- Experience working with children in a childcare setting with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool
- Knowledge of childhood development principles
- Attentiveness to needs of children
- Certification in Early Childhood Education
- Ability to have fun interacting with children daily
- Ability to multitask and prioritize activities effectively
Job Qualifications
- EEC Certification that states the age group certified to work with
- Completed the college course Child Growth and Development (CGD)
- Completed the CDA credential
- Completed the Care Course and willing to take the CGD
- Graduated from a Technical High School with Certification in Early Childhood Education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR and First Aid Certification preferred
Job Duties
- Provide attentive care to children in a safe daycare school in a compassionate manner
- Implement balanced learning curriculum to stimulate the children's physical, emotional, and intellectual growth
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Supervise children during playtime both indoors and outdoors
- Follow all health and safety regulations
