Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school degree or GED required
  • Food service or food handler permit or license required
  • Experience in licensed child care center, public school, or commercial kitchen preferred
  • Must pass state and company background checks
  • Must comply with immunization, physical screening, and health and safety training requirements
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday with weekends off

Job Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school degree or GED
  • Food service or food handler permit or license according to state or local regulations
  • Relevant experience in a licensed child care center, public school, or commercial kitchen preferred
  • Ability to comply with immunization and health screening requirements
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Lead planning and preparing nutritionally balanced meals for children and staff
  • Keep an accurate inventory of supplies and place orders as needed
  • Lead prepping and preparing meals
  • Clean and comply with sanitation requirements
  • Ensure food safety and comply with health regulations
  • Communicate with staff regarding menu plans and dietary needs
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and report any issues
