Job Requirements
- Work experience in cooking and/or food preparation for multiple individuals in a childcare facility preferred
- Willingness to learn and adhere to current state and local regulations
- Flexibility regarding hours and work schedule
- Ability to assist in classrooms when needed

- Basic understanding of child nutrition practices
Job Duties
- Create home-style nutritional meal plans within menu and budget constraints
- Prepare meals and snacks for children and staff
- Distribute food to classrooms
- Follow daily menu in accordance with USDA, licensing, and health department regulations
- Maintain inventory of food and supplies and order as needed
- Assist in classrooms as Assistant Teacher or Floater as necessary
