Job Requirements
- Work experience in cooking and/or food preparation for multiple individuals in a childcare facility, preferred
- A willingness to learn and adhere to all current state and local regulations
- Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work

- Work experience in cooking and food preparation for multiple individuals in a childcare setting, preferred
- Ability to follow and implement health and safety regulations
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to assist in classroom activities as needed
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and adjust to schedule changes
Job Duties
- Prepare nutritional meals and snacks according to the center's menu and budget
- Adhere to USDA, state licensing, and health department regulations and guidelines
- Maintain inventory of food and supplies, placing orders when necessary
- Distribute meals and snacks to classrooms promptly
- Assist in classrooms as an assistant teacher or floater when needed
- Adapt to menu changes and meet meal and snack schedules
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
