Job Requirements
- Work experience in cooking or food preparation for multiple individuals in a childcare facility preferred
- Willingness to learn and adhere to all current state and local regulations
- Flexibility regarding work hours and schedule
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced childcare environment
- Strong communication skills

- Ability to follow menu plans and schedules
- Good organizational skills to manage inventory
- Capability to assist in classrooms supporting children
- Willingness to adhere to state and federal food service regulations
Job Duties
- Create home-style nutritious meal plans within menu and budget guidelines
- Prepare meals and snacks for children and staff
- Distribute food to classrooms following schedules
- Follow daily menus adhering to USDA and health regulations
- Maintain inventory of food and supplies and order as needed
- Assist classrooms as an assistant teacher or floater as needed
