Job Requirements

At least 18 years of age
high school degree or GED required
relevant experience working in a licensed child care center, public school, or commercial kitchen required
ability to pass state and company background checks
compliance with state and company minimum education and experience requirements

knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
ability to plan menus and manage inventory
strong organizational and communication skills

Job Duties

Plan and prepare nutritionally balanced meals for children and staff
keep an accurate inventory of supplies and place orders as needed
manage all aspects of prepping and preparing meals
ensure cleanliness and comply with sanitation requirements
maintain food safety standards
collaborate with childcare staff to accommodate dietary restrictions
monitor kitchen equipment and report maintenance needs
