Butler Hospital is a prestigious and historically significant psychiatric hospital located in Rhode Island, established in 1844. Job Requirements
- PhD or PsyD degree
- Completion of a 2-year neuropsychology post-doctoral fellowship
- At least 2 years of neuropsychology experience post-fellowship preferred
- Competence in child and adolescent neuropsychological assessments
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with clinical teams
- Eligibility or possession of neuropsychology board certification preferred
Job Qualifications

- Expertise in child and adolescent neuropsychological assessments
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience in mentoring or training students preferred
- Board certification or eligibility preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting
Job Duties
- Conduct psychological and neuropsychological assessments on inpatient and outpatient populations
- Address referral questions related to neurodevelopmental, psychiatric, and neurological disorders
- Collaborate with the clinic director and administrative staff
- Work effectively within the medical and outpatient communities
- Provide mentorship and training to graduate and post-graduate students
- Document findings clearly with strong written communication
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to treatment planning
