Job Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or GED certificate
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Maintain a good driving record
- Have proof of insurance
- Pass required background screening
- Pass physical examination
- Have at least one year of experience working with children in day care or residential setting
- Be responsible and mature
- Exercise sound judgment
- Maintain confidentiality
- Adhere to all agency policies
- Be able to lift children weighing up to 50 pounds
- Work every other weekend and other necessary shifts
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age

- Exhibit responsibility and maturity with reputable character
- Demonstrate sound judgment and ability to care for children
- Preferably have at least one year of experience working with children in day care or residential settings
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Maintain a good driving record

- Pass required background screening
- Pass physical examination
Job Duties
- Provide a safe and non-judgmental environment for children and families
- Answer the door and phones and greet volunteers
- Facilitate family visits with their children
- Accept donations and assist in inventory process
- Assist nurse practitioners in conducting well and sick child exams
- Administer medication to children
- Utilize service and behavior plans to address children's needs
- Assist with personal hygiene and maintaining a healthy environment
- Manage children's activities and leisure time
- Support implementation of Creative Curriculum and Developmentally Appropriate Practice
- Assist children with school homework and activities
- Exercise agency-approved discipline and guidance policies
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks family style
- Complete required documentation accurately
- Perform housekeeping and laundry duties
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Maintain child to staff ratios
- Prepare for shift work including reading files and logs
- Transport children to and from school and activities
