Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Experience programming and supervising children
- Ability to plan and execute recreational and therapeutic activities
- Strong communication and organizational skills

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- History of programming and supervising children required
- Experience facilitating programs and events with hospitalized children and families preferred
Job Duties
- Work closely with child life specialists each day to identify high priority patients who would benefit from play sessions at the bedside
- Plan time to play with long term patients throughout the week, ideally 30-60 minutes, up to three times a week
- Bring patients to play in the clubhouse and to/from child life events and activities
- Bring clubhouse activity bags or themed party activities to patients who cannot leave their rooms or help them engage with virtual programming on their TV
- Plan group play times with age-appropriate patients or patients and siblings
- Oversee unit volunteers and assign play-based tasks
- Plan and facilitate activities in the clubhouse three times a day and monthly themed parties
- Maintain the clubhouse play space, cleaning, decorating, and ensuring ongoing safety and readiness for patients
- Assist with setting up and hosting special events and parties in the atrium or other designated areas
- Assist with planning CCTV programming, broadcasting to patient rooms and advertising events, such as weekly Bingo
- Assist in managing incoming donations, ordering supplies for activities, and planning activities to utilize resources on hand
- Oversee clubhouse volunteers and assign clubhouse tasks or toy delivery tasks
