Job Qualifications
- no high school diploma or general educational development (ged) certificate required
- no prior related work experience required

- basic understanding of cleaning and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dishwasher and hand-washing stations
- wash and disinfect kitchen and storage areas including tables utensils knives and equipment
- receive deliveries store perishables properly and rotate stock
- ensure clean dishes are stored in appropriate areas
- use chemical detergents disinfectants and rinsing agents for washing dishes
- inspect stack and send dirty items for re-washing
- soak wash and re-wash cutlery
- sort and separate containers for dirty items
- empty trash bins and maintain waste deposit areas
- clean and mop all assigned department areas
- dispose of glass in appropriate containers
- break down cardboard and other recyclables and place in recycling bins
- comply with company safety policies report accidents injuries and hazardous conditions
- communicate clearly and professionally with others
- develop and maintain positive working relationships
- ensure quality standards are met
- move lift transport push drag and place objects up to 50 pounds unaided
- stand sit or walk for prolonged periods
- bend reach and perform other physical tasks as required
- perform reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors
