Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Manage daily kitchen utility operations including dish room, night cleaning, and back dock cleaning
- supervise kitchen staff such as dishwashers and helpers
- order and manage supplies and inventory ensuring adequate materials and equipment
- schedule events, programs, and staff work shifts
- conduct inventories of china, glass, silver, food, equipment, and liquor
- inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for efficiency and standards compliance
- investigate and follow up on employee accidents
- enforce cleaning routines and proper use of dish room machinery
- ensure all food holding and transport equipment is operational
- maintain compliance with food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations
- communicate relevant information to executives, peers, and subordinates in a timely manner
- lead and motivate the kitchen team promoting financial responsibility and integrity
- manage employee performance, training, and disciplinary procedures
- foster a cooperative and trusting team environment
- participate in managing department expenses to meet budget goals
- solicit employee feedback and strive to improve service performance
- ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining quality and standards
- attend meetings to enhance service quality
- provide guidance and direction to staff, including safety training
- recruit, interview, hire, and promote employees
- review employee satisfaction and address concerns
