Job Requirements
- Federal Aviation Administration commercial pilot certificate and instrument rating or an airline transport pilot certificate
- Current 737 and/or 767 type rating
- 2500 flight hours including 1000 hours of turbine and/or jet as pilot-in-command
- Experience leading and/or managing a team
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance
- U.S. Person status as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Compliance with drug-free workplace policies
- Ability to work primarily first shift with potential for alternate or weekend shifts
- Authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate and instrument rating or Airline Transport Pilot certificate
- Current 737 and/or 767 type rating
- 2500 flight hours including 1000 hours of turbine and/or jet as Pilot-in-Command
- Experience leading and/or managing a team
- Test Pilot School Graduate preferred
- Previous KC-46 or P-8 experience preferred
- Experience with Contractor Flight Operations under the Ground & Flight Risk Clause preferred
- Developmental flight test experience in large multi-engine aircraft preferred
- Experience in certification of transport category aircraft preferred
Job Duties
- Manage test aircrew and first-level managers performing aircrew duties including activities to prepare for and conduct safe test flight operations
- Perform and manage activities to plan conduct and evaluate ground and flight tests
- Lead aircrew activities to support design efforts
- Supervise production flight operations at the Military Delivery Center in Seattle ensuring a collaborative and productive relationship with government partners
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers business partners and direct reports
- Provide oversight and approval of detailed staffing planning and budgeting activities to support future program objectives
- Develop and execute integrated departmental plans policies and procedures and provide input on departmental business and technical strategies goals objectives
- Review and approve command media to ensure compliance with contract and regulatory processes and procedures
