Job Requirements
- Must reside in or be willing to locate to Northwest Georgia
- Must maintain FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- Must have operational control and management capability
- Ability to lead and motivate teams
- Ability to work accurately under deadlines
- Ability to maintain situational awareness and make effective decisions
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and company flight scheduling software
- Physically capable of sitting for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Must handle unpredictable work hours and on-call requirements
- Must possess mental calmness and problem-solving skills
- Must demonstrate personal maturity and discretion
Job Qualifications
- College education preferred
- Possess ATP certificate with appropriate ratings
- Qualified to serve as Pilot in Command on at least one aircraft used on the FlightWorks Air Carrier Certificate
- Extensive aviation operational and management experience
- Knowledge of FAR Parts 1, 61, 91, 119, and 135
- Knowledgeable in Company Manuals, Federal Aviation Regulations, and Operations Specifications
- Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Duties
- Establish approved company ground and flight training programs for flight crewmembers and operations personnel
- Maintain training programs, systems, aids, and devices
- Exercise operational control over company aircraft and dispatch pilots and aircraft on FAR Part 135 flights
- Amend and sign for operations specifications and operating certificates
- Ensure aircraft and equipment availability for pilot training
- Train and direct personnel to meet company and regulatory requirements
- Communicate company goals and directions to flight crewmembers and operations staff
