Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- minimum of 5 years’ experience in fundraising or development roles
- proven experience in donor cultivation and event planning
- proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office
- strong financial acumen with budgeting and forecasting skills
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
- ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and community stakeholders

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- donor cultivation and fundraising experience
- event planning experience
- ability to maintain effective working relationships with other department heads, lay leaders, volunteers, and committee members
- versed in CRM software systems, Microsoft Excel, Word
- knowledgeable in financial budgets and forecasting
- ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with a flexible and can-do attitude
- minimum of 5 years’ experience
Job Duties
- Lead all fundraising efforts including event sponsorships, individual and corporate solicitations, chai membership, annual appeal, endowment fund, inclusion program fundraising, manage grant seeking, writing, and management
- plan, execute, and solicit sponsorships for fundraising events including development-related special events, International Jewish Film Festival, Early Childhood Fundraiser, Annual Golf Outing, Jewish Book Month, fitness fundraisers
- plan and execute two annual donor events
- manage and present Development Department annual budget
- input donations to fundraising software and reconcile development records to general ledger monthly and annually
- manage Golf and Development committees including volunteer and lay leader representatives, agendas, regular meetings
- assist in managing committees for International Jewish Film Festival and Jewish Book Month
- oversee Adult Programs, JAdventure, and Family Connectors departments
- work closely with CEO, Marketing Director, and other department heads
- maintain effective working relationships with lay leaders, volunteers, and committee members
