Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years in operations, general management, or strategy roles at scaling startups
  • Proven track record in market entry and scaling operations
  • Strong financial literacy especially in budgets and P&L management
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to operate independently and drive projects from ambiguous starting points
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects
  • Startup experience with a pragmatic, action-oriented mindset

Job Qualifications

  • Proven operator with 6+ years in senior operations, general management, or strategy and operations roles at scaling startups especially Series A to C
  • Experience leading market entry of new geographies, preferably the US, with a track record of going from zero to traction
  • Independent ownership demonstrated by ability to take ambiguous goals and run with them end-to-end creating clarity and momentum
  • Strong financial acumen including comfort with budgets, P&Ls, and forecasts to use numbers for decision making and risk spotting
  • Project management expertise delivering complex, multi-month, cross-functional initiatives under pressure
  • Startup mindset characterized by scrappiness, pragmatism, bias to action, and balance of quick impact with long-term scalability
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to distil complexity, influence at all levels, and inspire others in unstructured environments
  • Experience with fundraising, investor relations, or board preparation is a plus
  • Prior exposure to scaling from 50 to 200 headcount is advantageous
  • Some people management experience is desirable

Job Duties

  • Lead the US market entry from the ground up including design of go-to-market strategy, defining hiring needs, setting up operations and regulatory structures, and ensuring the P&L model is clear and achievable
  • Take ownership of execution by translating strategy into actionable plans, maintaining operational cadence, and ensuring accountability across teams
  • Work across functions as an integrator bridging product, sales, marketing, finance, and people teams to drive alignment, prioritisation, and delivery of key projects
  • Establish operational discipline by building scalable processes such as reporting, OKRs, and dashboards to maintain focus and speed as the company scales
  • Provide financial oversight by managing budgets and forecasts at the US market level and partnering with Finance to ensure data-driven decision making
  • Support CEO priorities including investor relations, board preparation, special projects, partnerships, and external communications
  • Shape the US team through hiring, onboarding, and organisational design to ensure early hires thrive
  • Be a cultural amplifier by bringing energy, charisma, and people-first leadership that inspires and rallies the team
