Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass security clearance per company policy
- Ability to perform major life activities including lifting up to 60 pounds, pushing or pulling 100 pounds
- Capability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and work in physically demanding conditions
- Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Honest, trustworthy character traits with a commitment to guest privacy
- Onsite presence required
- Must follow all safety standards and company procedures
Job Qualifications
- Working knowledge of preventative maintenance, electricity, AC and plumbing
- Five to ten years experience as a maintenance engineer, technician, or similar role
- HVAC and pool certification preferred
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, standing for long periods
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience supervising maintenance staff
- Knowledge of safety and security protocols and procedures
Job Duties
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to hotel systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment
- Conduct regular inspections of the property grounds and facilities to ensure functionality and safety
- Oversee and supervise maintenance staff including interviewing, training, and disciplining
- Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, and reports for compliance with company standards
- Respond promptly to maintenance work orders and guest requests
- Ensure safety and security standards are consistently adhered to across the property
- Assist with guest issues maintaining a hospitable and professional attitude
