Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in hotel engineering or maintenance management
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, and energy control systems
- Proven ability to manage maintenance staff and contractors including hiring, training, and evaluation
- Experience with budgeting, inventory management, and purchasing
- Excellent problem-solving and emergency handling skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively
- Familiarity with safety and compliance protocols
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call as necessary
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Provide professional and courteous guest service at all times
- Supervise maintenance operations including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, A/C units, lighting, and fire/life safety systems
- Monitor and manage energy consumption for efficiency
- Oversee contracted services to meet hotel standards and guest expectations
- Supervise maintenance staff including hiring, training, evaluations, and scheduling
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of maintenance projects according to specifications
- Coordinate with Housekeeping and Security on operations, key control, and safety procedures
- Assist with project planning and work with architects and contractors on bids and blueprints
- Manage maintenance agreements and contracts including landscaping and snow removal
- Develop and maintain maintenance programs for guest rooms, public spaces, and hotel equipment
- Perform inventory management, purchasing duties, and budget development for the department
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of workspaces
- Attend meetings as required by the General Manager
