Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to perform general repairs and preventive maintenance
  • Skilled in carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, painting, tile repair, refrigeration, water testing, snow removal, and pool maintenance
  • Experience working in a customer service environment
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills to hire, train, and schedule maintenance staff

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Hospitality experience preferred
  • Completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience preferred
  • An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently

Job Duties

  • Repair things as required including general overhauling of something to improve operating efficiency or the complete replacement of a unit due to breakdown or failure
  • Maintain things routinely to keep them in good operating condition including cleaning or replacing minor subcomponents
  • Do preventive maintenance by periodically checking things through the use of specific checklist and/or schedule or timetable to ensure that the property continually operates within an established set of criteria
  • Work with little supervision
  • Do carpentry, electrical work, painting, plumbing, tile repair, refrigeration, water testing, snow removal, pool maintenance, and carpet repair in a customer service environment
  • Hire, train and schedule maintenance employees
