Job Requirements

  • a minimum of 5 years fundraising experience is required
  • bachelor's degree in a related field required
  • experience in non-profit fundraising leadership including major gifts and grant writing is required

Job Duties

  • serve as the senior leader of the development department responsible for overall fundraising strategy and management of all fundraising activities
  • develop implement and track the organization's comprehensive development plan ensuring alignment with strategic goals and financial needs
  • develop and manage the annual fundraising budget regularly track and analyze key performance indicators
  • manage mentor and provide strategic direction to the marketing manager and annual giving manager fostering a collaborative and high-performing team
  • provide final strategic oversight and approval on all major fundraising initiatives and campaign assets including direct mail lists digital strategies and event plans
  • ensure a cohesive and consistent message is conveyed across all fundraising channels
  • lead the organization's major gift and principal giving programs focusing on securing transformational gifts from individuals corporations and foundations
