Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting or financial management
  • Prior experience in the hospitality industry preferred
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple financial processes simultaneously
  • Effective leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hotel or hospitality accounting
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
  • Ability to lead and develop accounting teams
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Job Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and payroll
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in compliance with accounting principles
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
  • Analyze financial performance and present findings to senior management
  • Lead budgeting process and monitor budget performance with variance analysis
  • Develop and maintain internal controls and conduct regular audits for compliance
  • Oversee purchasing card process and assist in year-end audit
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Conduct financial analysis for strategic planning and provide financial guidance
