Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior customer service experience preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • ability to handle cash accurately and follow security procedures
  • physical ability to perform job duties including standing and bending
  • willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Customer service experience preferred
  • cash handling experience preferred
  • ability to organize and manage seating charts
  • strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with customers and coworkers enthusiastically
  • ability to read and comprehend instructions and policy documents
  • ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform job functions

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests with a smile and appropriate greeting
  • record customer reservations and seating times accurately
  • maintain and update restaurant seating charts
  • set up and maintain dining room areas before service
  • assist with stocking silverware for shifts
  • advise guests on menus and beverage options
  • oversee delivery and service of food and beverages
  • liaise between kitchen and floor staff
  • perform cashier and busser duties as required
  • follow cash handling policies and procedures
  • patrol assigned station, refill water and coffee, and maintain condiments
  • perform tasks such as rolling silverware, expediting food orders, washing dishes, and cleaning during downtime
