Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members
  • Familiarity with POS systems and reservation software preferred
  • Ability to maintain a neat and professional appearance
  • Ability to work flexible hours including holidays and special events
  • Certification or willingness to complete responsible alcohol service training
  • Ability to perform physical job duties including standing and walking for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with guests
  • Demonstrated proper telephone etiquette
  • Demonstrated ability to operate electronic reservation system and flow charts
  • Ability to perform public relations and entertainment activities
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with a team
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests according to guest preference and table availability
  • Control guest flow and maintain reservation system
  • Inform guests of restaurant specials and feature items
  • Coordinate with servers and bus persons to provide high-quality guest service
  • Assist in table maintenance and cleanliness when necessary
  • Accurately collect payments for drink orders through POS system
  • Maintain a well-groomed appearance in accordance with company standards
  • Perform entertainment routines and participate in public relations activities
  • Keep entry and host areas clean and organized
  • Abide by all liquor regulations and responsible alcohol service requirements
  • Observe health department regulations regarding food handling and cleanliness
  • Participate in company training programs
  • Perform opening, closing, and other side duties as assigned
  • Report and account for tips accurately at shift end
  • Handle difficult guest situations with professionalism and resilience
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistent service quality
